Recently, I had the pleasure of designing a new custom order for my dad. Its called the Star of David pendant. I had the opportunity to design the dimensions of pendant, get it cast and set the stones myself. Its a combination of Mozambique garnet (red), Green Aventurine (green) and Citrine (yellow). The reason my dad wanted to set the pendant with red, green and gold stones is due to his love of Africa and the Ethiopian culture. The same colors are in the Ethiopian flag. In Jamaica, we celebrate the strong bond between Jamaica and the African culture, particularly Ethiopia due to the Rastafarian and Judeo-Christian heritage.
