Zion

So, I decided to revise the "Star of David" design, and I'm calling it Zion. It was inspired by my dad, he has a great love for African heritage. Seeing that our family is Jamaican, we grew up listening to Bob Marley and the Wailers, Dennis Brown and Third World. The Ites, green and gold is symbolic of Jamaican Rastafarian culture and its ties to the respect of the African diaspora. My father had requested me design and cast this pendant using the same colors. Originally I used crushed stones such as aventurine, citrine and garnet. 

BUT ... It has been revised with more vibrant colors, and needless to say, I am proud of the end result... Zion.
